Although the app does not transmit any data, it may store the following information locally on your device to support core features:
• Altitude and pressure history (last 48 hours): Used for weather estimation and sea-level calibration. This data is stored temporarily and overwritten automatically.
• Last known GPS location: Cached in the app’s preferences to enable faster loading and functionality when GPS signal is unavailable.
• Beacons (waypoints): If you create beacons, their coordinates and labels are stored in a local database on your device.
• App settings and configurations: Stored locally to ensure consistency between app sessions.
You can remove all this data at any time by deleting the app or clearing its data through iOS settings.

4. Permissions Used
Altimeter GPS may request access to the following iOS system permissions:
• Location (Foreground and Background):
Required to display your position, calculate altitude via GPS, calibrate the barometer, and estimate sunrise/sunset times. Background location is only used when weather monitoring or background tracking is enabled.
• Motion & Fitness (Activity Recognition):
Used for step counting and to provide an odometer for your movement without relying on GPS.
• Flashlight Access:
Used only for the built-in SOS/flashlight feature.
These permissions are optional. If you deny them, certain features may not be available, but the app will still function in limited form.

Altimeter GPS does not retain any user data beyond what is temporarily stored on your device. This data is:
• Automatically deleted when the app is uninstalled
